Redang Island
Redang is a paradise; from the hilly landscape to unimaginable creatures that dwell on the coral bed, the island is bristling with life. Located 45km away from the coast of Kuala Terengganu, Redang never fails to enchant visitors as they explore the life; from the sleepy fishing villages to the warm beaches and verdant rainforests to a seasonal encounter with Hawksbill turtles nesting.

Perhentian Island
This is another magical, but often overlooked, island off the coast of Terengganu with coral-rich gardens in its waters. Often sought after by diving enthusiasts around the world, Perhentian Island will take your breath away, you can found turtle at here.

Rantau Abang
The largest turtle species on Earth, comes to nest every year. Known as the only location in Malaysia where the massive leatherback. Between May and September, visitors who arrive at Rantau Abang in Dungun, Terengganu, will get a rare glimpse of leatherbacks climbing the gentle beach slopes to lay their eggs and return to the sea.

Kapas Island
Kapas Island' waters are home to a variety of hard and soft corals besides the marine life. This island is particularly known for squid fishing with only one resort available for accommodation.

Lang Tengah Island

The smaller island of Lang Tengah is perfect for a more secluded getaway. The waters are just as a beautiful, with fish that are so tame they swim right up to you, looking for food. Also look out for sea cucumbers and corals combing the floor bed.

Kemasik
The beaches around the town of Kemasik offer visitors great tranquillity. The town actually runs along the sea-shore, enabling you to shop for souvenirs while relaxing on the beach. Coconut trees are found in abundance along the sand, and it would be an incomplete experience without taking a sip of coconut water sold by the many vendors that ply the beach.

Kenyir Lake
The largest man-made lake in Southeast Asia, Tasik Kenyir is a picturesque water repository teeming with aquatic life, birds, mammals and vegetation. Angling is extremely popular here as the lake is home to many types of game fish. Several waterfalls also flow into the lake if you’re into water sports and swimming. You can also trek or go off-road in the jungles around this magnificent lake.

Lata Tembakah
The Lata Tembakah waterfalls are located in Besut in the middle of a thick tropical rainforest filled with towering trees. A two km trek through the jungle will reward you with a fantastic waterfall that makes for a pleasant relaxing spot.

Pasir Payang
Pasar Payang is the Central Market of the state. This place is a must-visit for first-time visitors to Terengganu. It houses a wet market as well as a trade centre for the local community. Find everything from local greens and herbs to Batik silk and trinkets with acclaimed magical powers in this colourful bazaar.
